Our Purpose

​The purpose of the Carmody Hills Hope Center is to bring holistic opportunities to propel everyone (HOPE). The Hope Center of Carmody Hills is rooted in healing a deteriorating, marginalized, disproportionate, and ostracized community known as Seat Pleasant, Maryland. According to the recent U.S. Census, the Seat Pleasant Community population is estimated 4,780, with a median household income of $47,408, 16.6% is below poverty level; 20% of our population is without a high school diploma; and 11% are without insurance. Primarily, we are purposed to close the gap between life’s misfortunes and the healing to overcome these circumstances.

The Hope Center of Carmody Hills will not only serve as a mediator among the government but it will furthermore foster support and individual development within the community.
